CHR is interested in barriers of many kinds, including denial, delay, cost, geography, referral refusal, and forced travel.

Examples of in-scope experiences

The registry welcomes submissions from Canadians who have encountered any of the following:

I was told I cannot receive HBOT because my condition is not on the official approved list.
I have an approved indication but was denied HBOT by a hospital or clinic.
No one in my province would refer me for HBOT despite my condition.
HBOT is technically available but only privately at a cost I cannot afford.
I learned there is no realistic access to HBOT for my condition in my region.
